Whip up some beautifully fluffy buttermilk pancakes, enrich your bake with fresh curd cheese with lemon myrtle or dress your salad with Persian-style feta from White Gold Creamery.

White Gold Creamery is the work of local cheese connoisseurs, Bronwyn and Michael Lind. The pair is passionate about melding chemistry and art to create a product that is a cut above. Based at Biggera Waters, White Gold Creamery churns its own cultured butter and cultured buttermilk and offers a fresh curd cheese coated in lemon myrtle with a cracked black pepper centre, a marinated Persian-style feta in a herb-infused oil, a Welsh-style cheddar as well as two semisoft cheeses; a delightfully creamy Darlington and cumin-flavoured Duck Creek.

Bronwyn and Michael Lind believe that local milk is precious (hence the company name) so you won’t find any cheap $2 supermarket variety milk on the premises, rather, they prefer to pay a fair price to local dairy famers to ensure a sustainable supply. If you’re interested in the cheese-making process, pop in to While Gold Creamery’s ‘Creamery Door’ which will be open from 2:00–4:00 pm Friday June 26 or pick up their freshly churned produce at The Farm Larder in Beaudesert, Poppi’s Pantry or Bunjurgen Estate Vineyard in Boonah. White Gold Creamery is also part of Scenic Rim’s Eat Local Week.
