One of the best things about living on the Gold Coast is that we’re not short on excellent ways to spend our weekends. From long lunches to bushwalks and blissful days beachside, we really are spoilt for choice. If we had to choose a favourite, however, it’s pretty impossible to beat whiling away an afternoon poolside with a colourful cocktail in hand, moseying from a plush daybed to the bar and back again. Sounds pretty great, right? If you too possess an inherent appreciation for waterside sips and dips, go ahead and get excited for Isoletto Pool Club and Isoletto Privé, The Star Gold Coast’s brand-new poolside hang. Here’s everything you need to know about this glorious new oasis …

Perched on level six of the 53-storey residential and hotel tower, Isoletto Pool Club is every bit as dreamy as you hoped it would be. Exclusive to guests of The Star, including The Star Grand, The Darling and Dorsett Gold Coast, Isoletto Pool Club is the stuff of sun-dappled daydreams. Featuring an incredible 12-metre viewing wall overlooking the twinkling lights of Broadbeach alongside cabanas, plush daybeds and even ‘wet lounges’ built into the pool itself – Isoletto is the perfect place to sun, spritz, snack, repeat. When you start to feel a little peckish, head to the gorgeous indoor-outdoor restaurant and lounge, which is serving light bites such as freshly rolled sushi, locally sourced oysters with mignonette dressing, and California prawn cocktails with avocado and dill. A crispy fried snapper burger and grilled chicken BLT lead the sustainable mains menu alongside nourish bowls, acai bowls and artisanal gelato flavours.

Thirsty? You’ve come to the right place – Isoletto Pool Club offers a range of tantalising concoctions such as the ‘Giulietta’, a sweet and sour sip with gin, Aperol and Pavan grape and orange blossom liqueur, alongside champagne, beer, wine and non-alcoholic options. Hot tip, if you’re really keen to make a day of it, there’s a selection of add-on ‘experiences’ available such as the Sparkling Experience, which includes waiter service, We Are Feel Good Inc SPF 50+ sunscreen, San Pellegrino sparkling water bottle, Bandini rosé prosecco and a seasonal fruit platter for $180. The striking new pool bar was envisioned by award-winning Brisbane architecture and interior design practice, Plus Architecture, and features a neutral palette with pops of bright lemon and melon.

Accompanying Isoletto Pool Club is Isoletto Privé, a dedicated function and events space. The expansive terrace provides the ideal blank canvas for private celebrations, weddings and corporate gigs. A trio of spaces including a lush lawn, deck and terrace will combine to create the ultimate locale for everything from cocktail parties and canape events to high-end corporate conferences. Isoletto’s exclusive sibling will also feature locally sourced dining experiences and the freedom to create a truly personalised event, which will no doubt see it become a highly sought-after space on the Gold Coast scene.

Isoletto Pool Club is now open for resort guests. Skip over to our Stumble Guide for opening times.
