The Lamb Shop opens in Broadbeach

The latest offering from Peter Gloftis, owner of No Name Lane, is inspired by the flavours of his childhood and reinvented for a modern audience. The Lamb Shop has opened its doors in the Oracle dining precinct in Broadbeach.

Offering a modern take on the humble souvlaki, The Lamb Shop is packing pitas with lamb shoulder that has been roasting away over charcoals for four hours, hand-cut potato chips and slathers of mustard mayonnaise. The concept behind The Lamb Store is simple, to offer fast food that’s done well. Don’t be perturbed by the name, if lamb isn’t your thing, the crew also serve up slow-roasted pork and chicken that is prepared to perfection.

Pull up a seat at the bar that overlooks the open kitchen and watch the magic unfold right in front of you. Enjoy a beer or two from the list of craft beers or bring it back a notch with a can of VB, a throwback to the Greek population in the southern states. At The Lamb Shop, there is no room for pretense. It’s all about good, honest flavours and quality food.
