Jump aboard The Cambus Wallace’s pop-up restaurant at Nobby Beach
Every Sunday, miscellaneous food makers from around the Gold Coast commandeer The Cambus Wallace at Nobby Beach.
Named after the shipwreck that rests off the coast of Stradbroke Island, The Cambus Wallace hosts a pop-up restaurant in the galley every Sunday from 4 pm.
Proving that variety is indeed the spice of life, the regular menu is shelved on Sundays to make way for a constantly evolving selection fare from various food truck owners or market holders including gourmet hotdogs, vegan burgers, dumplings and even meat from a local smokehouse.
The nautical themed bar is a favourite for locals who congregate there to enjoy the bar’s astonishing array of whiskey, rum and a pretty decent signature cocktail list. One such cocktail is a Manhattan that has been aged in an Oak barrel for six weeks.
