While coffee may be the most widely consumed beverage in the world, approximately 22 million cups of tea are consumed in Australia every day. Whether your penchant is for a mid morning pick-me-up or a cup to calm your mind before bed, Tea Therapy in Burleigh Heads can oblige.

There is something inherently relaxing about sitting back in your favourite chair with a good book and a cup of tea. A sentiment that C.S. Lewis obviously shared having once mused, “You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.” He obviously had not visited Tea Therapy in West Burleigh. More than 90 different kinds of tea line the shelves offering blends such as Moroccan Mint that will kick-start your day, After Dinner that will help you unwind, Long Jing Dragon Well to boost your health or Formosa Green Jade that will curb your appetite and aid weight loss. A large percentage of Tea Therapy’s range is herbal with a broad selection of organics to choose from as well.

Owners Carly and Peter both have a background in natural therapies and started selling a small range of herbal tea in their clinic to complement their patient’s treatments and it grew from there. Eventually, the pair turned their attention to focus exclusively on tea and herbal infusions and opened Tea Therapy. From robust anti-oxidant rich oolongs through to black, white, yellow and green varieties, Carly and Peter are strong believers in the therapeutic benefits of tea and are more than willing to recommend a variety to ease your ailment. The teas are all categorised by therapeutic uses online or drop in and have a chat in person. See our Stumble Guide for opening times.

The Stumble Guide is our comprehensive Gold Coast dining guide with more than 870 places to eat, drink, shop and play.
