Sunset sessions, frosé and seafood – Surfers Pavilion is open!

It’s hard to beat a sunset session with a killer view to accompany your well-earned afternoon aperitif. Well, friends, we hope you’re sitting down because we have some very exciting news – Surfers Pavilion is set to open its doors for the first time on Saturday April 24 – just in time for the double long weekends we have coming our way! Here’s everything you need to know …

When whispers first broke about Surfers Pavilion, the people (you!) couldn’t get enough. A venue with direct boat and jet-ski access, a dedicated frosé bar and an interactive oyster-and-champagne station, it’s little wonder why. Well, it’s here (one month early!) and it’s every bit as dreamy as we’d hoped. The eagerly anticipated venue has upped the ante and completely transformed the former Helm Bar with expansive floor-to-ceiling windows to soak in the insatiable view from every angle, while touches of greenery and its duck-egg blue and pale-pink accents give the decor a playful touch.A sophisticated menu showcasing locally sourced seafood accompanies an array of casual bites, including burgers, char-grilled striploin and a Pavilion club sandwich. The venue levels up the luxury with an interactive oyster and champagne station and fans of frosé will be tickled pink to hear that there is a dedicated bar for the delicious yet brain-freeze-inducing sip.The stylish waterfront venue will eventually boast a substantial mooring with both boat and jet-ski access, so those determined to make a real statement can roll up (or should we say, sail up) to the bar via the water but that’s still a few weeks away. Whether it’s for a business lunch or you’re arriving straight off a day on the water, the casual venue is set to bring an abundance of good vibes and expansive waterfront vistas to your afternoon session.

To celebrate Surfers Pavilion’s grand opening, the crew is kicking off the first of its Sunset Sundays with internationally acclaimed DJs and producers, The Stafford Brothers. For opening information, skip over to our Stumble Guide.
