Surfers Pavilion is now open for breakfast and has dropped a dedicated canine menu for your furry friend
Surfers Pavilion is known for long seafood-filled lunches, sundowners and evening escapades. Now, the waterfront venue is embarking upon an exciting new adventure – breakfast! The much-loved venue is extending its trading hours to welcome the morning crowd with a hearty breakfast spread. But that’s not all – they’re also rolling out the red carpet for our four-legged friends. Yes, you heard it right – this riverside hotspot has gone to the dogs and is now pet friendly, so you can bring your furry companions along for the fun.
In a move that is guaranteed to please the very good boys and girls of the Gold Coast, Surfers Pavilion’s new doggy menu dishes up puppuccinos served with doggy biscuits, lactose-free ice-cream sundaes with peanut butter, sausage and eggs, and even acai bowls, for those health-conscious hounds. For the pampered pooches with a taste for the finer things, there’s rump-steak and salmon poke bowls, and for pups on a shred, there’s a raw-diet menu.
For the two-legged patrons, the new morning morsels are available seven days a week from 7:00 am. The menu features not one, not two, but six different options to choose from when it comes to pancakes and waffles, while the Pavilion Big Breakfast featuring two eggs your way, pork sausage, double-smoked bacon, confit mushroom, house-made baked beans, potato rosti, tomato chutney and toasted sourdough, is guaranteed to put you in a food coma. For the seafood lovers, the crab chilli eggs have been a standout, but it’s pretty hard to go past the southern fried-chicken waffles with sriracha, hollandaise and maple syrup.
To celebrate their newfound pet-friendly status, Surfers Pavilion is hosting a Pup-A-Chino Giveaway for the first 100 visitors on Saturday March 9. Grab your leash, you’d be barking mad to miss it!
