Last-minute festive plans are sorted at Street Food Marketta

It’s almost Christmas, which means that tables at your favourite restaurant can be hard to nab, but fear not, the food stands at Miami’s Street Food Marketta will have you covered this Saturday night.

Walk through the streets of Mexico City or Bangkok and you’ll discover that the best food isn’t found in restaurants, but in the busy makeshift street stands tended by neighbourhood cooks and beloved by locals. Inspired by such culinary traditions that bring the community together through food, the Street Food Marketta assembles in the Miami Marketta every Saturday evening, serving up fare from across the globe.

This weekend’s market will see San Diego funk outfit Fish out of Water play as you pull up a seat and begin to stuff yourself silly with the selection of offerings (it’s the festive season afterall, so gluttony is acceptable and also highly encouraged). The food line-up includes wordly morsels from Gnocchi Shack, Pablo Pablo and My Saigon Tuckshop, while the Dessert Hall will house The Whoopie Lady, The Chocolate Komberry and Benny’s Pretzels, among other sweet stalls.
