The perfect pair – QT Hotels and Four Pillars have made a gin baby

We love a good pairing – cookies and cream, rosé and sunsets, macaroni and cheese (okay, anything at all with cheese), and now you can add QT and Four Pillars to the list. The unexpected partnership brings together the world’s most-loved gin (they even have the award to prove it) and the quirky hotel brand to make a beautiful gin baby and let us be the first to say, welcome to the world, little one.

QT and Four Pillars’ limited-edition creation is called Ordered Chaos Gin and it will be exclusive to QT Hotels. Thankfully for us Gold Coasters, we needn’t travel too far to get a taste of the goods with the swill rolling out across QT venues this week (March 1). Described as a “gin with attitude”, Ordered Chaos has been artfully created by Four Pillar’s team of distilling experts and bended by QT’s master mixologists – a truly beautiful union. The gin itself started with gentle aromas of spice and citrus, before the QT team injected a colourful combination of fresh coconut milk, raw almonds and bamboo leaves – a chaotic mix inspired by QT life.

To showcase Ordered Chaos, QT’s brilliant bartenders have layered it with homemade infusions, syrups and tinctures that pack a real flavour punch. Room Service Ricky is botanical, bitter and bubbly whilst the QT Colada Fizz is textural and creamy to highlight the nutty notes. For those who prefer a refreshing sip, Bamboo is a variation on a martini with just a hint of coconut. QT has plans to launch a series of all-inclusive, multi-sensory events with masterclasses and tastings, so keep your peepers peeled but for now, you’ll just have to rally your crew and head to Stingray Lounge to give it a try.
