If you’re a fan of Daniel and Ruggie Ridgeway’s BiN restaurants, prepare to be excited. The empire is expanding to include a new flagship restaurant on Surf Parade in Broadbeach. Expected to open mid-March, the new venue will feature the brand’s ten signature dishes alongside some exciting new exclusive dishes. BiN 89 will join BiN 232 in Broadbeach, BiN 12 in Burleigh Heads and BiN 72 in Coolangatta.

Little Mermaid
If you’ve driven down the Gold Coast Highway of late, you may have noticed K Bar & Meze boarded up. Thankfully, it’s not permanent. The venue has been given a complete overhaul to become Little Mermaid. Anticipated to open early March, the restaurant will feature a brand new coastal menu reflective of the Gold Coast.

The Loose Moose
Located next door to Hatch & Co., The Loose Moose will be modelled on a Canadian grillhouse and tap house. The venue will be the latest from Patrick Gennari, owner of Koi Dining & Lounge Bar and Glass Dining & Lounge Bar and is expected to open early May. Diners can expect a menu filled with burgers, ribs, steak and seafood alongside a stellar selection of craft beers and loads of whisky.

Greenhouse Canteen + Bar
The peculiar ‘cruelty free and killin’ it’ got tongues wagging when it went up a couple of months ago but it’s been revealed the old Pizza Bar in Miami is being transformed into a vegetarian eatery from the wonderful souls behind Kirra’s Greenhouse Factory Restaurant & Bar. The southern venue has vacated to make way for an apartment building and the new Miami restaurant will offer an innovative plant-based menu focussing on street food and share plates. Greenhouse Canteen + Bar is expected to open late March.
