Wouldn’t it be nice if you could eat a tub of ice-cream knowing that it was not only good for you (say what?) but it also was environmentally friendly and completely free of chemicals and nasties? Well, it’s totally possible. Newly launched Gold Coast brand Naked Earth has released its first range of ‘nice-cream’, which ticks every health-conscious box you could imagine, and it’s all made right here in Burleigh Heads.

So, this all-new ‘nice-cream’ is not your usual run-of-the-mill healthy, creamy delight. Owners Libby Were and Jake Killeen, who embraced the paleo lifestyle six years ago, set out to create an ice-cream alternative that was completely free of combiners and thickeners, making the product ‘authentic’ paleo. Using a coconut base, the all-new Naked Earth products are vegan and organic, and you won’t find a smidge of wheat, dairy or refined sugar anywhere in the range.

The chocoholics will be delighted with the choc-mint flavour, plus there’s vanilla and coconut, salted caramel and a lively green matcha in the line-up. The duo are currently perfecting a new chai tea flavour, and are looking to roll out new additions over the coming months. It’s always a good vibe when you find new foodie delights that are health-conscious, taste great, and are made in our own backyard. The Naked Earth range is brand new, so keep your eyes peeled for these delightful little tubs of sweetness at cafes, ice-creameries and health-food shops across the south east.
