Garden Kitchen & Bar at The Star launches Australia’s first Moët & Chandon vending machine

This is not a drill, and it’s not a joke, but we’ll give you fair warning – you should probably take a seat before reading on. Okay, here goes. Australia’s first ever Moët & Chandon vending machine will officially launch on the Gold Coast this Saturday June 24. Once you’ve picked yourself up off the floor, get straight to Garden Kitchen & Bar at The Star, where you can push the button and experience the conveniently dispensed taste of Moët & Chandon, straight from a luxury vending machine. This is quite possibly one of the greatest inventions known to mankind.

The Moët & Chandon vending machine is currently chilling 495 bottles of the famed champagne, and will officially take pride of place in the heart of Garden Kitchen & Bar at The Star from this Saturday (June 24) onward. The concept first launched at Selfridges in London back in 2013, before being rolled out across the United States – now it’s the Gold Coast’s turn, and quite frankly, we’re beyond ecstatic.

The glorious vending machine contains 200ml mini Moët bottles, which are dispensed when you pop a Moët & Chandon-branded gold token in the slot. After the mini Moët dispenses, you can attach a gold sipper (so fancy) that turns the bottle into a makeshift champagne flute. Now, we’ve tried to put in orders for our own in-office Moët & Chandon vending machine (hellooo champagne Fridays at The Weekend Edition), but it seems they are a little more selective when it comes to locations, so we’ll be poppin’ mini bottles at The Star every weekend until we can get our own. Seriously, this is what dreams are made of.
