The Gold Coast to get a taste of Mary’s burgers
Gold Coast burger lovers, get ready to lose your minds – iconic Sydney burger joint Mary’s will be in town for one night only as it takes over The Cambus Wallace at Nobby Beach this Sunday October 9.
This is massive – the gents behind Mary’s, Jake Smyth and Kenny Graham, will serve their famous burgers from the popular Nobby Beach bar and eatery from 4:00 pm. Word has it that they’re bringing with them an army of ‘metal maids’, which we’re told is a group of Mary’s staff (many of whom are male) dressing up as their take on Gold Coast meter maids. Now, we’re intrigued. Back to the burgers – The Cambus Wallace will be flooded with Mary’s goodness, with dine-in and takeaway burgers set to be pumped out all night long.
The good people of Sydney always bang on about how unbelievably juicy and tasty Mary’s burgers are – it’s with simple ingredients that these burgers are done really, really well. Paired with fries and super tasty thickshakes, it’s easy to see why this joint has a cult following down south. We’re beyond excited that they’re sharing their burger love and giving the Gold Coast a taste. A Mary’s burger in one hand, a craft beer straight out of The Cambus Wallace taps in the other – and we’re about to internally combust with excitement. We’ll be going back for seconds.
