Posh nosh – treat yourself to lobster, champagne and truffles at Lobster&Co’s Pacific Fair pop-up
Lobster lovers, start licking your buttery lips. A drool-inducing pop-up restaurant on wheels will be slinging steamy lobster rolls with truffle fries and French champagne from its temporary home at Pacific Fair Shopping Centre. Here for a good time, not a long one, the luxe lunch will be available from Monday July 18 to Sunday July 24. Here’s everything you need to know …
There was once a time when shopping centre dining meant a choice between finger-lickin’ chicken or burgers. Nowadays, the culinary options are far more interesting with a plethora of choices depending on your whim and budget. Now it’s time for Lobster&Co to raise the bar even higher with a lavish lobster and champagne experience that’s guaranteed to tickle your tastebuds. Fresh from a successful stint in Melbourne, the roving restaurant will be delighting diners with a taste of the finer things in life – lobsters, champagne and truffles – in a casual setting without breaking the bank.
As you’ve probably deduced by now, the offering revolves around a unique single-core menu item – the confit Australian lobster tail, which is sourced from the Geraldton Fishermen’s Co-operative, champions of sustainable fishing. This ocean-caught delicacy is served in a slightly sweet caramelised brioche bun and finished with a creamy buttermilk fennel slaw and a side of crisp parmesan truffle fries for $50. There’s also a creamy lobster chowder served in a soft sourdough bread bowl for $40. Pair your posh nosh with a flute of chilled Pommery French champagne or a crisp Kronenbourg, and you have yourself a fanciful feast fit for a king or queen.
Lobster&Co’s pop-up will be located at Pacific Fair Shopping Centre from Monday July 18 to Sunday July 24.
