Joe’s Deli applies its clean ’n’ fresh approach to beer with new canned range
Joe’s Deli’s loaded line-up of sangas, subs and classic deli detailing has gained fans from Brisbane to Broadbeach. Now, Joe’s Deli devotees can wash down their order with a new range of canned beers – we’re talking lagers, pale ales and ginger beers. To toast to these new brews, Joe’s has dropped a post-5:00 pm menu of dinner sandwiches. That’s your next knock-off drinks sorted.
Born on the Gold Coast in 2022, Joe’s Deli quickly became a beloved hotspot for those hankering for a not-so-simple sandwich. Its cult menu features what the Joe’s team describes as proper sandwiches, complete with quality cured meats, classic combos as well as many house specials. After opening its second outpost in Brisbane CBD last year, Joe’s Deli and its satiating sandwiches have won hearts (and appetites) from the city to the beach.
Now, Joe’s Deli has teamed up with Newstead’s Range Brewing to add canned beers to its mouthwatering menu. Complete with an unmistakable 80s Budweiser-inspired look, the canned drinks are served the old-fashioned way, with a frosted glass and a friendly price point. Sip your choice of Joe’s lager, pale ale and ginger beer – brewed to perfectly pair with the rich flavours of its sangas.
Along with the launch of Joe’s beer, the deli has set its sights on dinnertime with a bunch of new menu items. Only on offer after 5:00 pm, the new menu turns dinner table delicacies into sandwiches. It’s led by the likes of The Cotoletta – a parmesan-crumbed pork cutlet on the bone that’s wrapped up in a famous sesame bun and finished with browned onion, coleslaw, roasted garlic aioli, salsa verde and lemon. If you’re craving family style, share The Italian Job – a toasted ciabatta sandwich stacked with chilli-and-garlic rope sausage, wild rocket, roasted red peppers, provolone, balsamic onion jam and chimichurri that’s big enough to feed three.
Keen for an after-work drink and feed? Joe’s Deli is celebrating the launch of its new drinks range and dinner delights with live DJs from 5:00 pm on Friday February 23.
