The former Greek Street Grill space in The Patio dining precinct at Pacific Fair (next to Bin 232) has been overhauled to expose the kitchen and create a fresh, pastel-hued aesthetic to set the tone for the brand’s flagship Australian venue, which is the latest project from Hallmark Group (the owners and operators of Jamie Oliver’s Australian restaurants). The casual eatery, which allows diners full view of the kitchen to soak up the pizza-tossing theatrics from the chefs, aims to recreate truly authentic Italian pizzas, with the light and crispy bases hand-stretched to order before being topped with fresh, local ingredients right before your eyes.

There’s The Julietta – described as a turbo-charged Margherita and named after Jamie Oliver’s wife, the salami and smoky pancetta-topped Porkie pizza, a classic four cheese topped with balsamic onions and cracked pepper, as well as a vegan pizza with mushrooms, sweet tomato, artichokes and plant-based cheese. The sizeable pizza menu is accompanied by a selection of fresh pastas – think creamy porcini-mushroom fettuccine laced with chilli and garlic, and a rich beef and pork ragu bolognese topped with aged parmesan. There’s also an offering of smaller on-the-go Italian-style bites, from truffle and mozzarella arancini and mini pizza puffs topped with Napoli sauce, to crispy polenta chips dusted with parmesan and rosemary. Pair your feast with local and imported beers, canned wines and Italian soft drinks, then round it out with a piping-hot banana and Nutella calzone.
