A good view makes any meal infinitely more enjoyable, that’s just a fact. Whether your preference is ocean, hinterland or city, add Horizon Sky Dining to your list, stat. The newly revamped venue officially opens on Friday June 30, delivering breathtaking 360-degree views over the Gold Coast skyline. Read on for all of the delicious details …

The Four Winds 360 Revolving Restaurant has long been a Gold Coast icon. Perched on the 26th floor of Crowne Plaza in Surfers Paradise, the venue has been the go-to dining destination for special occasions, family dinners and celebrations of all kinds for years. After a short hiatus, the iconic dining destination has been reborn as Horizon Sky Dining and forms part of the multimillion-dollar upgrade that saw the building’s exterior go from terracotta to bright white. Almost all of the hotel’s 269 rooms have been revamped to deliver a modern beach-chic aesthetic, which is carried through to the dining destination with natural finishes, light and bright tones and a few nautical touches.

Crowne Plaza’s executive chef Jean-Marc Heussner has curated the restaurant’s seafood buffet, which is brimming with locally sourced produce including Mooloolaba prawns, Pacific oysters and scallops from Hervey Bay. “The breathtaking views and delicious seafood are quintessentially Gold Coast, offering the best of what the city has to offer in one place,” says Jason Farnworth, general manager of Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise. “Horizon isn’t just a great dining experience, it’s a jaw-dropping one, with a 360-degree view of the Gold Coast skyline that rotates every 45 minutes.”

Horizon Sky Dining is open for lunch and dinner from Thursday to Saturday with lunch bookings available on Sunday. Prices start from $110 per adult and $65 per child. Head to our Stumble Guide for booking details.
