Home Grown is bottling all-Australian ready-to-serve cocktails

There’s a real science behind ready-to-drink sips and the all-important element of flavour depends on the expert mixology going on behind the scenes. One such brand that has got the process down pat is Home Grown, which has collaborated with some top-notch Australian spirit brands and a bevy of brilliant bartenders to create a clutch of crackin’ cocktails that are ready to serve straight out of the bottle.

Home Grown is the boozy brainchild of Melbourne-based hospitality incubator Worksmith, which has spawned other sip-happy initiatives like Melbourne Cocktail Festival, Stella Coffee and the Tip Jar Fund. Now the crew is taking on pre-mixed cocktails, and they are looking to change the game with its launch of luscious libations that utilise some of the best spirits Australia has to offer. Home Grown has launched with three locally-inspired spritzed cocktails – the Ginger & Mango Spritz (crafted with Geelong-made Anther Gin), the Creamy Soda Highball (crafted with Melbourne-made NED Whisky), and the Strawberry & River Mint Spritz (crafted with Australian-made Grainshaker Rye Vodka and ØKAR Island Bitters).

Each drink is a combination of natural ingredients, and the first release of cocktails has been developed with help from master mixologists that the Worksmith team got to closely collaborate with at Melbourne Cocktail Festival. All you have to do to serve these tasty tipples like a pro is pour your cocktail of choice over ice and add some fresh garnish. You can snag the 750-ml bottles for $45 each or if you’re eager to treat your tastebuds to all three, you can buy a Home Grown Pack for $120.
