Harvest celebrates ten years in Newrybar with two exclusive ten-course dinner events

It’s been ten years since Harvest Newrybar first graced the Byron Bay region with its delightful presence. To celebrate a decade of deliciousness, the team have put together two exclusive dinner events on April 2 and April 3. You’re invited to go on a journey to showcase the best culinary moments for the iconic venue, but be quick – there are only a few more seats left!

The renowned restaurant, bakery, artisanal delicatessen and organic garden will stage two ten-course dinners on Sunday April 2 and Monday April 3. Executive head chef Bret Cameron and local forager Peter Hardwick have created an impressive ten-course menu, which is designed to showcase the evolution of Harvest’s offerings over the past decade. The evening is set to kick off with canapés, bubbles and locally brewed Stone & Wood Beer in the Harvest bakery, followed by a seated sunset dinner in the restaurant.

Bret and Peter will host the night, sharing their collective passion for provenance and seasonality, as they showcase the culinary potential of Australian native foods. The specially curated menu will feature the most popular dishes from the past ten years, utilising produce from Harvest’s own organic garden plus local meat and seafood. For canapés, you can expect a modern take on classics like fish and chips and eggs benedict, which pays homage to Harvest’s early reputation as a cafe and breakfast hub. The following courses will take you from cafe-style to fine-dining, with dishes like 12-hour-braised lamb shoulder. Diners will also be presented with a dish inspired by Bret and Peter’s Wild Harvest sessions, where the duo present a selection of menu ideas after a day of foraging. Friends, this is almost completely sold out, so head over here to secure your spot.
