In honour of Vegetarian Awareness Month, Hard Rock Cafe Surfers Paradise has expanded its menu offering to introduce 25 new meat free options.

Biting into a big, juicy, meaty burger is practically synonymous with Hard Rock Cafe’s dining experience but for the month of October, the iconic venue is encouraging patrons to ditch the patty to promote a more sustainable plant-based diet. Among the appetising new dishes is a Southwest spiced tofu and black bean wrap, a roasted root vegetable and kale salad plus four new vegetarian burger combinations. Bite into a deliciously flavoursome quinoa burger that contains a house-made quinoa patty, red onion, Portabellas, eggs and cheddar cheese slathered with a thick layer of hummus, or for a more traditional vegetarian burger, the Veggie Leggie is a tasty candidate. The meat free options will be on the menu for the month of October so you best get in quick to make the most of it. To supplement the new nosh, Hard Rock Cafe Surfers Paradise has also unveiled some nutritious drink options so you can trade the beer for a beet, orange and ginger juice, or not, it’s up to you.

If the new vegetarian dishes don’t float your boat, you can still enjoy Hard Rock Cafe Surfers Paradise’s legendary meaty American cuisine including hefty burgers, savoury sides, and vibrant summer salads. If it’s a nice day, climb the stairway to heaven and soak in some sunshine on the terrace or claim one of the booths as your own and take in all of the music memorabilia that adorns the walls. For opening times or contact information, see our Stumble Guide.
