Inspired by the Amalfi Coast, Italian dining spot Cucina Vivo at The Star Gold Coast is well known for its delicious handmade pasta, which is made on site daily using authentic methods and local ingredients. Every Thursday during March, diners can enjoy Cucina Vivo’s signature pasta dishes for 50 percent off. Yes, you read that right – half-price pasta every Thursday night in March. So, you can forget cooking for the next few Friday-eves – this is a far better option.

Some of Cucina Vivo’s most popular pastas will be on offer for a bargain buy, like the Moreton Bay bug maltagliati with bisque, avruga and heirloom tomato, the Risotto alla Milanese with Kiwami wagyu brisket, amaranth, lemon zest, pickled kohl rabi, and the Gnocchi e Funghi with Byron Bay mushroom and truffle pecorino. If you can’t look past a bolognese, the rich ragu casarecce topped with grana padano will curb your cravings, or for a taste of the best local seafood go for the Campanelle Frutti di Mare, featuring prawns, mussels, local fish and chilli. You’ll even have a few bucks spare for a glass of vino.
