Froth Coffee Co. brings milk bar vibes to Currumbin
Hidden amongst Currumbin’s industrial corridor, Froth Coffee Co. is serving perfectly brewed coffees seven days a week.
When Gold Coast-born Jordan Malane, one half of former indie surf-punk outfit Bleeding Knees Club, and his girlfriend Verity Elks lived in Melbourne, visiting new cafes became a favourite pastime that quickly grew into an obsession for the pair. Each day they would visit a new cafe all the while dreaming of owning their own, someday. Tired of the Melbourne weather and lack of surf, they moved home and hooked up with long-time pal Declan May to pursue their passion for quality brews and opened Froth Coffee Co.
The pastel-hued old-school façade pays homage to the milk bars of yesteryear and features a laid-back vibe to relax and enjoy a coffee. Froth Coffee Co. is brewing Sydney-based Single Origin Roasters, the same crew who supply Paddock, Elk and Percy’s Corner. Froth’s medium-bodied Yeehah! blend delivers hints of macadamia, raisins and caramel.
The focus at Froth Coffee Co. is obviously the coffee however there is a food menu that offers muesli, breaky bagels and a classic avocado smash on Burleigh Bakery’s sourdough. See our Stumble Guide for opening times.
