Recently awarded the title of Master at the esteemed 2015 Global Gin Masters competition, Four Pillars Navy Strength Gin is playing with the big boys in the gin world and winning a small army of fans in the process.

Established by three Victorian gin-loving chaps and enabled by a bunch more that wisely parted with their pennies back in 2013 to kick start production, Four Pillars Gin churned out its first batch of Rare Dry Gin and has since grown to become one of the county’s most popular small-batch distilleries getting around. The brand’s award-winning Navy Strength Gin is a throwback to the 18th century when the Royal Navy actually legislated the amount and quality of gin that had to be on board every vessel as it was thought to ward off scurvy amongst seadogs.

Thankfully for us land-dwelling folk, scurvy isn’t as much of an issue as it was back then so we sip it for the taste. This particular concoction contains finger limes and organic oranges, which highlight the Asian spices like coriander and star anise, ginger and fresh turmeric, to give it a delicious and distinct taste. Find Four Pillars Navy Strength Gin online or at your local quality bottle shop.
