Finders Keepers launches its (boozy) Saturday brunch club
There’s nothing better than weekend brunch. Especially when mimosas are involved. If you’re a seasoned ‘bruncher’ or if you’re just jumping on the bandwagon, you’ll be delighted to know that James Street’s hidden foodie gem Finders Keepers has launched a Saturday brunch club – and yes, cocktails are well and truly involved.
That’s right pals, boozy brunches are coming. Launching in early May, Finders Keepers will swing open its doors from 11:00 am every Saturday for its brand-new brunch club. You’ll be encouraged to sit back, relax and be lazy – exactly how a Saturday morning should be. The brunch club will feature shared-style dining, with the option of a brunch banquet or an a-la-carte menu, paired with champagne and a specially curated list of cocktails. While we’re on the boozy stuff – you’ll be able to sip on mid-morning tipples like an orange sorbet mimosa, a vodka-laden pineapple hibiscus punch, or you can spice it up with the Spicy Beetroot Mary, using beets instead of tomato.
Expect a mixture of light, sweet and savoury plates, featuring brand-new brunch dishes like a strawberry and chestnut ‘wonut’ (a mix between a waffle and a doughnut) served with macerated strawberries, vanilla bean ice-cream and hazelnut candy. There’s also a parmesan French toast, using organic sourdough from the Burleigh Baker, with roma tomato sorbet, ricotta cheese, crispy prosciutto and pomegranate molasses. You can keep it light and fresh with the house-cured Atlantic salmon with avocado, cucumber and ruby grapefruit. If you’re all for grazing and boozing in the daylight, then you’d best get the crew together and hit up this all-new Saturday brunch club. Get in touch with Finders Keepers to book a table.
