Nestled off the beaten track on Commerce Drive in Robina (just behind the petrol station, up from Robina Pavilion) Eddy + Wolff is one of those places that when you know, you know. The tiny 22-seater has been slinging sophisticated sips and barbecued bar snacks most evenings since it opened in March 2019 and now, due to popular demand (and repeated requests from loyal customers), the crew has added a Friday and Saturday lunch service so go ahead and rally your work fam for a fun lunch.

Bid farewell to your boring desk lunch because Eddy + Wolff is here to satiate your starvation with fresh, flavoursome, Asian-inspired fare. The lunch menu offers a succinct selection of bites such as the mouth-watering banh mi jaffle … yes, you read that right. Eddy + Wolff’s take on the classic Vietnamese staple is slathered thick with oven-baked chicken-liver pate and topped with lashings of Vietnamese mayo and pork terrine that has been made using a secret recipe handed down by the owners’ Aunty Hai, who has been selling her famous banh mi in front of her house for over 30 years. Next, stick your chopsticks into a serve of First Page Crispy Chicken. An OG from Eddy + Wolff’s very first menu and back by popular demand. So popular, in fact, the recipe can be found on the AGFG website. Finally, pho-fiends, this one’s for you – a bowl of flavoursome pho with charred bone marrow. Kind of puts your tuna salad to shame, don’t you think?

If you’ve not yet had the pleasure of dining at Eddy + Wolff, let this be the sign you’ve been waiting for. The pint-sized spot is hidden out of plain sight and lies off the beaten track – which was exactly the intention of its owners, husband-and-wife duo Thao and Vien Nguyen, who are also behind Runaway Bay’s popular Vietnamese restaurant and bar, Can Tho Kitchen. The venue is essentially a sophisticated melting pot of tastes and experiences from their travels across Asia, with an undercurrent of authenticity from their native Vietnam.
