Easter feaster – dial up the decadence this year with QT’s at-home Easter box

We’re just going to say it, Easter 2021 has a lot to make up for. This time last year, Australians spent their entire long weekend in lockdown with only essential shopping trips allowed – no lining up at the trawler for fresh prawns and seafood, no buttered hot-cross buns fresh from the bakery oven, no gathering with friends and family over a meal. Thankfully, this year’s festivities are looking a little more positive. Make up for the year that wasn’t with a sensational spread at home courtesy of Easter by QT at Home.

We’ve come a long way since this time last year. Let this Easter season be memorable for all of the right reasons with a decadent in-home dining experience to truly relish and appreciate all of the things (and flavours) we missed out on last year. Curated by QT’s team of celebrated chefs, the Easter holiday box was designed to deliver a taste of QT at home with a side of indulgence. You needn’t have the culinary skills of Heston to whip up this fanciful feast, as the easy-to-follow kits have been tailored for no-fuss assembly. The box is brimming with a mouth-watering array of locally sourced dishes including Moreton Bay bug mornay, pan-seared ocean trout, fresh prawns and oysters. Forget sourdough, this Easter it’s all about homemade damper slathered with Pepe Saya butter, alongside blini with caviar and crème fraîche, house-baked hot-cross buns and mango cheesecake. Naturally, the stand-out is a gooey chocolate fondant – it is Easter after all.

Easter by QT at Home also comes with a hand-constructed chocolate Peter Rabbit figurine and a letter from the chef. To round-out the unique sensory experience, there is also a specially curated chocolate-soaked Spotify playlist to ensure the good vibes are flowing. The box caters for four people and includes 14 dishes with the option to add additional items such as a Tomahawk steak, whole lobster, roast chicken and rolled porchetta. The box starts at $450 and must be ordered by March 28. The Easter by QT at Home box is available for pick up between April 1–3.
