Things are getting botanical at Husk Distillers’ first evening event – say hello to the Distillery Dinners

If there’s one thing we love more than gin, it’s botanically crafted gin from one of the region’s most loved producers, Husk Distillers. Is it possible to get any better? Yes, apparently. Taking our love for gin to the next level is its brand-new Distillery Dinner series, which are intimate dinner experiences involving crafted cocktail pairings and a drool-inducing menu.

The much-loved distillery is opening its doors for dinner for the first time, with the perfect way to celebrate the end of the working week – a fortnightly Friday night dinner, which provides diners with a decadent three-hour dining experience. Rotating monthly, each intimate dinner event will highlight a key part of the Husk Distillers range of Husk Rum or Ink Gin spirits. Kicking off proceedings is the iconic (and ridiculously pretty) Ink Gin, which means the three-course menu is inspired by all things botanical (not to mention being gin-infused)! Of course, no meal is complete without curated drink pairings and there’s an accompanying list of cocktails created by the expert bar team at Husk.

The Ink Gin Dinner menu for April includes Ink Gin caviar oysters, salmon with pink beetroot risotto, smoked walnuts and spiced poached pears, and an Ink Gin and tonic cheesecake with gin and honey sauce. After the April introduction to the Distillery Dinners, May’s events will feature the brand-new Husk Botanic spirit. We’re told that the cane spirit is botanically distilled and will flip your thoughts on rum upside down! The first Distillery Dinners will be held on Friday 9 and 23 of April, and the three-course set menu with paired cocktails is $120 per person.
