Daark Espresso rolls out a new winter menu

The heaters are cranking and there’s a brand new menu hot off the press at Daark Espresso that contains all of you warm winter favourites. If by chance the promise of crispy potato hash and thick-cut Barossa bacon isn’t enough to lure you from your bed, the staff have gone a step further to ensure your snuggly comfort and have provided wooly wraps to throw around you while you dine.

A coffee and a big bowl of deliciously warm porridge on a cold morning is pretty hard to beat, unless of course it’s Daark Espresso’s warm vanilla bean and quinoa porridge that is adorned with fruit compote and candied nuts and a cup of their house blend from Supreme Roasters. The porridge is just one of the hearty new winter additions that provide the added motivation required to leave the house on chilly mornings. From midday, the new lunch menu offers some equally as tasty albeit unexpected new additions such as the smoked Kransky dog which is slathered in American mustard, ketchup and cheddar cheese.

Known for impeccable coffee, service and nosh, Daark Espresso has earned its place as a favourite among locals judging by the queue for a table. The fare is fashioned from top end produce that is sourced as local as possible with a standout exception being the award-winning thick-cut bacon from Barossa Valley. Head chef, Scott Kelly, brings a swag of culinary expertise to raise the bar for cafe food to deliciously lofty new heights. See our Stumble Guide for opening times.
