Run, don’t walk – Cinnabon has popped up on the Gold Coast (for a very limited time)
The weekend is here, the sun is shining and we’ve got some exciting (and totally delicious) news to boost your mood – world-famous bakery Cinnabon is back on the Gold Coast, popping up to sling its sweet, comforting oven-baked cinnamon rolls to locals this weekend. The catch? It’s only here for a few days, so you’ll need to be quick.
If you’re yet to get caught up in the Cinnabon hype (either in your overseas travels or up at Brisbane’s Garden City or Toombul outlets) allow us to enlighten you. This isn’t your average cinnamon roll – and you’ll realise that once you first bite into the pillow-soft dough, which is infused with Makara cinnamon to create a truly mesmerising aroma. The rolls are generously covered in waves of sweet signature frosting, ensuring your tastebuds are hit with pure pleasure at each and every mouthful. Yep, it’s quite the experience.
So, how do you get these scrumptious delights into your hands and mouths? You’ll find the Cinnabon Gold Coast pop-up at The Strand in Coolangatta (outside Woolworths), hawking CinnaPacks of various sizes featuring signatures like Cinnabon Classics, Caramel PecanBon and Chocobons as well as smaller MiniBons. The Cinnabon pop-up is operating from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm daily until this Sunday April 26 (it will be closed Anzac Day). You can peep the exact menu here. Oh, and a hot tip – to retain the gooey goodness, don’t refrigerate and reheat at home before you eat. What are you waiting for? Go and get ’em!
