The Mermaid Beach cafe and garden space formerly occupied by bakery Vivré a Vie has been brought back to its former glory with catering company Fingers and Bones setting up its first namesake eatery. Perched along the Gold Coast Highway, the vibrant new space is run by husband-and-wife team Dennis and Leigh Duncanson, who are starting small with daytime fare – but you'll want to keep your eyes on this place because come 2017, it'll be on for the young and old. more
