Sink your teeth into a burg’ from the coast’s newest food truck
If you subscribe to the philosophy that burgers needn’t be stacked with one thousand ingredients and resemble the Leaning Tower of Pisa to be tasty, you’re going to love Burgers By Junior. Despite the fact the food truck has only been rolling the streets for a few weeks, it has already built up a solid reputation amongst the burger-loving populace.
From the two ridiculously talented humans that brought us Mermaid Beach’s American eatery, Easy Street Diner, comes a brand new mobile venture, Burgers By Junior. Making its debut at Balter Brewing Company, Burgers By Junior is basically a scaled-down version of the diner and offers the same amazingly simple (yet mouth-wateringly tasty) burgers with a slightly different name and a couple of minor tweaks here and there.
With only four burgers gracing the menu, you would think it would be an easy decision however you’d be sadly mistaken. Opt for the classic cheeseburger, a minimalist delight with just cheese, meat, pickles and sauce, add bacon if you’re feeling fancy or wrap your mitts around the cheesy chicken burger, which is exactly as it sounds, cheese, fried chicken tenders and sauce. There is also a mushroom burger for meat-free friends. If you’re particularly famished, double down on the burger toppings for just $4 or fill your belly with a large helping of french fries slathered with bacon cheese (mmm bacon cheese). For now, you can find Burgers By Junior at Balter Brewing Company from time to time and they are available for private events.
