Burger’d brings quality burg’s to the burbs
With a tagline encouraging patrons to eat responsibly, it’s pretty clear that there’s no such thing as a casual Burger’d customer. Spurred by the success of its first store in Arundel last year, the eatery has just opened its second location in Pacific Pines.
If you’ve got a hankering for a burger loaded with fresh ingredients and oozing saucy goodness, make tracks to Burger’d. The casual eatery specialises in gourmet burgers and hotdogs that don’t cost the equivalent of a week’s rent. For the purists, the Royale with Cheese, which is filled with beef, bacon, cheese, tomato sauce, American mustard and aioli, has been a stand-out favourite but for those who believe the more (ingredients) the merrier, The Lot is right up your alley. If you’re keen to keep the carbs to a minimum, shun the brioche bun and opt for the wrap or gluten-free option. Despite the implications by its name, Burger’d also dishes up authentic Chicago-style hotdogs and fat beer-battered fries heaped with house-made chilli and drizzled with lashings of gooey melted cheese. Wash it down with a decadent Snickers and peanut butter milkshake, if you dare.
With burgers starting from just $7.90 and ranging to $12.50, it might be tempting to assume Burger’d is just another fast-food restaurant however the meat, produce and buns are all delivered fresh daily. Rather than fancy fit-outs and golden plates, Burger’d prefers to spend money on quality ingredients so you can almost feel good about being bad. Almost.
