Broadbeach Pavilion opens its doors

The old Grumpy’s Bar has been given a chipper makeover to complement its new moniker, Broadbeach Pavilion. The all-new eatery has upped the ante on pub grub to offer sophisticated modern Australian cuisine.

The latest addition to the Oasis Shopping Centre’s culinary offering is undoubtedly a crowd pleaser. The casually sophisticated new eatery provides the perfect place to enjoy a bite and a beer or a long lunch that easily rolls into dinner. The remarkably extensive menu is designed to cater to your every whim, what ever it may be. Pick at a selection of tapas including Mediterranean marinated olives, salt and pepper calamari, crispy braised pork belly with fennel and barbecue lamb cutlets or go straight for the main affair that includes all of your traditional favourites. If you’re up for it, there’s a behemoth 600-gram rib eye that promises to demolish man-sized hunger alongside hickory smoked pork ribs that you can order by the half kilogram or full kilogram. Quench any resulting meat thirst with an ale or two from the equally as vast drinks list that contains craft varieties alongside mainstream brews. The resident mixologists are also putting the finishing touches on a specialty cocktail list that promises some curious new concoctions.

The chic white-washed venue is a nod to the relaxed beachside Gold Coast lifestyle and is named after Broadbeach’s first ever restaurant and bar that was built in Lennons Hotel in 1954. Broadbeach Pavilion is the fourth in the family for Jarrad and Ashleigh Moore, the same talented duo behind The Lott Espresso Bar Mermaid and The Lott Urban Dining in Robina.
