Brewed Brewery at Paradise Point brings a new wave of craft beer and bites to the north

A new craft-beer haven has landed on the northern Gold Coast, bringing a thirst-quenching wave of brews and bites to the tip of Paradise Point. The doors to Brewed Brewery will officially open to the public this Saturday September 29 – here’s what to expect from the new waterfront dining space and bar.

As you might have gathered by the name, Brewed Brewery is all about the beer. The amber goodness is dispensed via a purpose-built 10-metre-long keg room, which is connected to the bar via eye-catching overhead copper piping. There’s a shine to local beers (everybody’s here, from Balter to Black Hops and Tweed’s Pickled Pig) with a line-up of around 25 different craft brewers to rotate on the regular. Don’t do beer? There’s also a collection of wine, ciders and a colourful menu of cocktails to keep the thirst at bay while you enjoy the pristine views over the Coomera River inlet.

The sips are accompanied by a diverse food menu that balances delicate eats like kingfish ceviche drizzled with lemon myrtle, with more beer-friendly dishes like finger-licking pork ribs with caramelised mandarin. You can keep things light with the puffed haloumi and watermelon with baby celery, fetta and red-wine-vinegar jelly or the wagyu tataki with truffle dashi and garlic miso. Or, if you’ve got a big gap to fill, get your fingers into the Southern fried chicken box with a side of charred corn and jalapeno aioli, before moving onto the whole barramundi with wombok, chilli and caramelised lychee or the satisfying giant black Angus OP rib on the bone.

Brewed Brewery opens to the public this Saturday September 29.
