Coffee. It’s what makes the world go ’round … and around, and around, and – woah, maybe that third espresso tipped us over the edge. Okay, so Robina locals and caffeine-fuelled workers, let us introduce you to Brew Cartel – the cool new coffee bar that has just opened in your hood.

Brew Cartel is all about the coffee. After opening its doors in late March, the new espresso bar is already attracting the weekday caffeine-loving crowds (that’s right, this is a Monday to Friday kinda place). Owner Cody Dye, who hails from Tweed Heads, jumped on the quaint space after doing her time at cafes just south of the border. You’ll find Cody on the machine from 6:00 am every weekday pumping out the goodness from local Tweed coffee roaster Ground Control Coffee.

Alongside the smooth but bold blend of coffee, there’s a cabinet jam-packed with housemade sweets and savouries. Cody has kept things simple with Brew Cartel – there are salads and sandwiches, which are all made fresh daily, as well as muffins, slices, brownies and some killer protein balls. The snacks will change daily, and don’t worry if you’re watching what you eat – there are plenty of raw and healthy handmade treats popping up. If you’re looking for a weekday local or pre-commute caffeine whack on your way to the M1, then make Brew Cartel your new best friend.
