Send it down the hatch – Black Hops launches a Gold Coast-inspired ale

Fresh off the back of being named Australia’s Champion Small Brewery at the 2018 AIBAs in Melbourne, the fellas behind Black Hops Brewing have dropped a new brew that you’ll want to get on your lips asap. Beer swillers, meet Send It – a new Gold Coast-inspired ale. Yep, it’s our fine city in the form of a beer. Cool, eh?

We’ve sure got a lot to thank the fellas behind Black Hops Brewing for, like enlightening us all with eggnog stout and making tinnies cool again – but this newbie takes the cake. Send It is a sessionable ale that’s light in colour with subtle hints of fruit, and it’s also the latest member of Black Hops’ core range, sitting proudly alongside the Pale Ale, Lay Day and Hornet.

Coming in at 4.2 per cent, the new Send It brew has an easy finish. It’s a laid-back, drinkable beer that’s easy to enjoy – just like the Gold Coast. Get your mitts on Send It in tinnie form and on tap a various locations (check here for where), as well as at the Black Hops taproom in Burleigh. Get on this.
