Street party to celebrate Barefoot Barista’s fifth birthday
This Sunday evening, iconic Palm Beach institution Barefoot Barista is celebrating five incredible years with a party in the street. Open to everyone who fancies fun and fabulous food.
The carpark of the neighbouring Palm Beach Hotel will be transformed into an epic street party this Sunday December 21 from 5 pm as the staff at Barefoot Barista hang up the aprons and celebrate half a decade of success.
Food stalls from Chubby’s Diner (the exciting new mobile venture from Jason Steele, the legend behind Kirra’s famous The Burger Lounge) and PopTaco will be on-hand to feed eager partygoers while the James Street Preachers will jam out some sweet Sunday sounds from 6 pm.
The party, hosted by cafe owners Liz and Dean, is their way of saying thanks to all of the locals who have supported Barefoot Barista since the early days when it was just half a dozen muffins and Dean’s experimental barista skills.
Barefoot Barista, known for its amazing coffee and chilled vibes, also has some exciting changes in the works that kick-off with a new takeaway window aptly called Barefoot West, table service and an exciting team of young chefs. The new menu is expected to land in coming weeks and will feature a significant raw food component to complement Barefoot’s array of cold-press juices and cold-brew coffee.
The event is free and is BYO, napkins and chairs that is.
