Aquitaine Pacific Restaurant & Bar brings French fare to Pacific Fair

Bringing a little French finesse to Pacific Fair, Aquitaine Pacific Restaurant & Bar is raising the culinary standard with freshly shucked oysters, charcuterie and champagne. The sophisticated new venue is the latest addition to The Resort precinct and celebrates the provincial fare for which its namesake is renowned.

Whilst champagne and oysters probably aren’t the first things that spring to mind when you think of shopping centre dining, that’s precisely what makes Aquitaine Pacific Restaurant & Bar so exciting. Inspired by the Aquitaine region in South West France, the venue offers traditional French cuisine from a rather unexpected setting – picture charcuterie boards loaded with house-cured meats, pulled pork rillettes and melt-in-your-mouth steak tartare. The oysters are also a must for seafood lovers. Delivered daily and shucked to order, you can enjoy natural or go all out with champagne and dill foam or gin and cucumber dressing. In true French-style, the nosh is as pretty as it is tasty with pops of colour and swathes of house-made sauce.

Thirsty? You’re in luck – the drinks list caters to all whims and tastes with a selection of well-known Australian varietals alongside some premium French selections, craft beers and cocktails. The casually refined new restaurant is the second in the Aquitaine family joining Brisbane’s famed Aquitaine Brasserie Restaurant & Bar in South Bank and offers a fanciful dining experience for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
