Bangers, bratwurst, snags, sausages, wieners, whatever you want to call them, if you’re a fan, get along to Bavarian Bier Cafe during February for Wurstfest. Twenty different sausages will be available for the month-long event, including beef, chilli and chocolate; beef, Vegemite and cheese; a two-foot Bavarian wiener; and the ‘hottest sausage’ incorporating a mix of pork and habanero. You can choose two limited-edition sausages plus a choice of two sides for $25, or go all out with a Wurstfest Sausage Platter, which consists of five snags and a selection of sides for $69 (serves two). Each limited-edition sausage has been matched to a Bavarian bier, so you can get a little hoppy hit alongside the wurst flavours.

If you can handle some serious snag and can smash the two-foot wiener, plus two side dishes, within a minute, you will score a limited-edition sausage pack to take home.
