A Woman’s Song at HOTA

Five remarkable Australian female artists will collaborate in an exclusive one-off concert at HOTA to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Gold Coast MothersMilkBank charity. This milestone commemorates a decade since the doors to the purpose-built facility first opened, providing screened and pasteurised donor mothers’ milk to families where the mother’s own is not available. A Woman’s Song, produced and directed by Gold Coast performing artist and former mother’s milk donor, Nadia Sunde, celebrates this momentous anniversary and all that this remarkable charity does to save the lives of vulnerable babies.

The soulful concert will also feature the songs and voices of five other artists, including 2016 Artist of the Year Marcia Howard (Goanna and The Voice), blues, jazz and folk singer-songwriter Zardi, multi-award winning and international renowned chanteuse Parissa Bouas (The Hottentots) and Rebecca Karlen, with musical accompaniment by renowned Brisbane-based four-piece jazz and world music ensemble Estampa.
