Winter Wine returns to Sanctuary Cove in 2017, with food and wine lovers invited to indulge in the most decadent spoils of the season.

The unique event showcases premium Australian and international winemakers and producers across an exciting weekend of wine tasting and appreciation events, live entertainment and fine dining.

The full-bodied festivities will saturate The Marine Village from Saturday, July 22 to Sunday, July 23, following the success of last year’s inaugural event, which saw leading wine producers host a range of informative and entertaining presentations and tastings in a specially themed pop-up precinct aptly named ‘The Vineyard’.

Completing the unforgettable gastronomic experience for guests, top chefs from The Marine Village’s leading restaurants and the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort have collaborated with outstanding wineries and suppliers to create a unique ‘Wine Trail’.

Visitors will discover feature areas along the tasting trail, hosting wine displays, live entertainment and champagne masterclasses.

The festival will showcase wines from local, national and international regions, with customers able to taste or buy a wide range of wines on display through a coupon-based redemption system.

Proudly presented by Sanctuary Cove, Winter Wine will highlight the full spectrum of wines – from full-bodied reds created for fireside conversation, to sparkling champagnes – hinting at the celebratory spirit of Sanctuary Cove itself.

Winter Wine tastings, presentations and live music schedule runs from 11am to 6pm each day.
