Wine Appreciation Lunch at O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards
Love wine? Us too! This Sunday June 10 O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley is hosting a wine appreciation lunch with resident vineyard Viticulturist Kevin Murtagh and Peter Orr. The experts will take you through tips on how to taste like a pro, wine show judging, varietal characters and of course, food and wine paring. Speaking of, the wines will be perfectly matched with a five-course lunch including cajun prawns, confit chicken breast and eye fillet.
5 Course Degustation Menu
First course – Bruschetta with tomato, bocconcini and basil
Wine – Lona Sparkling Semillon
Second course – Cajun prawns resting on charred sweet corn salsa and petite salad
Wine – Lona Sparkling Blush
Third course – Confit chicken breast with crispy prosciutto and potato rosti
Wine – Molly Marsanne
Fourth course – Pepper-rubbed eye fillet on sweet potato rounds with broccolini and Shane Shiraz jus
Wine – Shane Shiraz
Fifth course – Rum raisin bread pudding
Wine – Petes Port
