Toolona Street Festival

Toolona Street Festival

Toolona Street Festival, an expansion of the extremely popular Eat Street, will flood the streets of Tugun with a tidal wave of colour, music, food and frivolity.

Kick back in a giant outdoor dining area set beneath a canopy of twinkling lights strung from Tugun’s famous 89-year-old fig tree. Foodies will be spoiled for choice with special guests and Tugun locals, Paul and Blair, the two surfing dads from MKR, making a guest appearance. Plus, there’ll be an array of local restaurants, food stalls and bars.

Giant puppets and the Ants will parade their way along the streets entertaining the kids with their movement, mayhem and silliness. Find some hidden ‘treasures’ at the Suitcase Rummage and enjoy free workshops and community spirit from local groups. Dance barefoot on the beach, the streets and in the parks to music from acclaimed songstress Nadia Sunde, guitar-slinging, banjo-wielding blues singer Karl S Williams, and the powerful and infectious tunes of Good Oak plus so much more.
