Sonya Hartnett’s Thursday’s Child, adapted for the stage by Monkey Baa, will be performed by multi-award winning Gold Coast-based theatre company Mercury’s Wings this July. Thursday’s Child is the Helpmann Award-winning story of an Australian farming family’s strength as they battle their way through the Great Depression of the 1930’s.
