The Rainbow Bakehouse at Robina Town Centre

Consider yourself an expert in all things sugar and a bit of a sweet tooth to boot? We’ve got some news that’s going to send your tastebuds into a spin – there’s a sweet, sweet school holiday program landing at Robina Town Centre this month and you definitely won’t want to miss out.

Commencing June 28, The Rainbow Bakehouse will offer a mouth-watering line up of whimsical workshops dedicated to deserts, designed specifically with mini master chefs in mind.

It goes without saying that we’re ditching the no-sugar rules these holidays, as this two-week program – running until July 11 – is set to have major Willy Wonka appeal for children and parents alike.

Adorned with candy-striped awnings and bubble-gum coloured furniture like something out of a story book, the purpose-built pop up will be located outside Myer and Guess on Ground Level.

It’s here that young pastry chefs will have the opportunity to create some OTT sugary confections under the guidance of trained (and patient!) professionals, with five different workshops to choose from.

On the menu is Ultimate Fairy Bread, where coloured piping and sprinkles make for a magical midday treat, Unicorn Hot Chocolates complete with warm strawberry and banana milk, whipped cream and toppings, Rainbow Cheese Toasties grilled to perfection, Daydream Donuts and Sprinkle Cinnamon Scrolls, frosted and decorated to your liking.

The Covid-safe sessions run from 10:00 am to 2:00pm daily and cost $5 per child (recommended for ages 3+), with all ingredients and aprons provided as part of the experience.

So cue the sugar high and get ready to give into your cravings, The Rainbow Bakehouse at Robina Town Centre is guaranteed to be a hit with the whole fam.

But be sure to secure your spot early to avoid missing out as bookings are essential and places are limited.
