Local artists are addressing some of life’s biggest issues through their works at The Outside, now showing at Level Up Studio + Gallery at The Strand at Coolangatta. Held until June 23, the exhibition features the work of three young Gold Coast artists, Emily Kafoa, Tiarna Stevenson and Jonny Ranger.

Through their own personal views about contemporary life, The Outside explores the truths about stereotyped subcultures such as homelessness, mental health, marginalisation, domestic violence, trauma, spirituality and the self, and aims weaken the borders that divide us as humans. The artists will donate a percentage of artwork sales to nominated charities.

Level Up is an initiative of the City of Gold Coast designed to provide access to art experiences for young people and adults within the local community and beyond.
