What’s better than Oktoberfest? A three-month long Oktoberfest, that’s what! If you’re partial to a German sausage and breathe heavily at the thought of a delicious golden pretzel, then The Long Oktoberfest at Cabana Bar is where you want to be. Here’s what you need to know …

From now until November, Southport’s Cabana Bar & Lounge is throwing European-style Sunday sessions, which means you can celebrate Oktoberfest well beyond its namesake month. So, each and every Sunday this spring, you can head to Cabana to snack on tasty nosh like traditional German pretzels with beer-infused cheddar (just take a moment to let that sink in), topped with smoked salt and crispy bacon bits. Wash it down with Oktoberfest specials like a stubby of Becks or a shot of Jagermeister (great for digestion).

Now, Oktoberfest wouldn’t be the same without a tasty bratwurst. Cabana’s head chef Nathan Hay has created some vibrant bite-sized hot dogs for the occasion – soft brioche rolls topped with traditional bratwurst sausage, red-cabbage sauerkraut, gherkins and jack cheddar. Has that got your mouth watering? Same! What better way to wrap up the weekend than with a Sunday session filled with sausages, beer-infused cheese and German vibes. Prost!
