It’s here! The festive season is officially upon us and if you’re keen to ignite your Christmas spirit or you just can’t contain your excitement any longer, head along to The Talley Valley Christmas Soiree this Friday December 1 to eat, drink and shop local. If you haven’t yet completed (or started) your Christmas shopping, the great news is that there will be a bunch of local makers and creators showcasing their wares so you can not only pick up a meaningful gift for the people in your life, you can also feel pretty darn great about supporting local business in the process. Go you! Hungry? You’ll be spoilt for choice with an incredible range of food trucks dishing up the goods including Zicatela wood-fired Mexican, Clinto’s Kupmurri, Food Kartel, The Spudhouse and Space Bars vegan ice-cream, to name a few. Burleigh Brewing Co will keep the cold ones coming whilst Kate Leopold and Julie Hayes will provide a sensational soundtrack for your evening’s enjoyment. There will also be plenty of activities to keep the little kinfolk thoroughly amused. Funds raised will go to Ingleside State School, Wildcare Australia and Tallebudgera Rural Fire Brigade. So come on, let’s get a little merry at the Christmas Soiree! For charity, of course.
