Love dogs, beer, food and music? Then get yourself down to Seagulls Club in Tweed Heads on Saturday May 25 for the second annual Tails & Ales event! The fun-filled day is all about raising much-needed funds for the Animal Welfare League Queensland (AWLQ), with plenty of action rolling out across the afternoon (from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm)  for furry friends and their humans! The pet-friendly event will feature a fenced off-leash area, a garden bar serving puppy-cinos and biscuits, pampering services from Doggie Distractions Day Care & Grooming, health checks from MyVet Twin Towns and even a Cutest Pet Competition and parade – fun! As for the humans, there will be brews from Stone & Wood Brewing, Byron Bay Brewery and Lost Palms Brewing Company pouring, as well as eats from Mamacitas Feisty Mexican Food Truck and hot-chip van The Rusty Chippery – and LOT TWO will also be serving its menu favourites out on the deck. Five-piece party starters Fire’n’Stone will be pumping out live beats all day, while the little humans will be kept busy with a jumping castle and face painting. Be sure to enter in the ‘paw-some’ raffle, with plenty of human and dog-friendly prizes up for grabs. Oh, and arrive thirsty – because Yappy Hour kicks off at 12:00 pm sharp, with 100 per cent of proceeds from all beers sold until 1:00 pm going directly to AWLQ! While entry to the event is free, all activities, services and doggie treats will be available for a cash donation, with all funds going directly to the AWLQ. Plus, the amazing volunteers from AWLQ will be on hand with some of the shelter dogs available for adoption too! Be sure to dig deep and throw your support behind this wonderful cause.
