Surfers Paradise Kids Week
Kids will take over Surfers Paradise these September holidays as Surfers Paradise Kids Week returns to the Gold Coast, featuring a bumper program of free, family-friendly entertainment across seven days of fun and excitement for children of all ages from tots to teens.
The characters from Despicable Me 3 headline this year’s highly anticipated event from Saturday 23 to Friday 29 September, as Minions Dave and Mel tumble in to say, ‘bello!’, joined by Gru three times daily in the Despicable Me 3 Dance Party and Active Meet & Greet, which will bring to life all the silly antics of the hugely popular film.
An initiative of Surfers Paradise Alliance and presented by Marriott Vacation Club International, Surfers Paradise Kids Week is the must-do event for families these school holidays, featuring free daily live shows, interactive workshops, jumping castles, zorb balls, rock climbing, face painting and more throughout Cavill Mall.
Cuddle up with some of Australia’s most-loved animals at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary show, and don’t miss other great highlights including Little Souls’ ‘Bursting the Bubble’ activation.
Not ones to miss the party, Surfers Paradise traders will be in on the fun, offering great Surfers Paradise Kids Week specials and promotions, as well as hosting free displays and workshops for families.
Plus, boogie on down at a sensational dance party with Surfers Paradise mascots busting out their best moves over five days from Monday 25 to Friday 29 September.
But the thrills don’t stop there – families can stay on after the program of events to explore all the excitement in store at more than 30 attractions and kid-focused experiences throughout Surfers Paradise, including iFly, Dracula’s Haunted House, Timezone and Ripley’s Believe It or Not.
